Lucia was born in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, and has been living in San Carlos, Sonora, since 1995. She has spent the last 20 years as an artist and painter, honing her skills in creativity and attention to detail. Now, she is bringing those skills to the world of real estate as a real estate agent. She specializes in helping first-time homebuyers find their dream home and assisting business owners in finding the best opportunities.
She understands that buying a home or real estate business can be overwhelming, which is why she is committed to making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. In addition to her experience as an artist, she studied architecture at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo León. She also pursued several studies in arts, painting, and sculpture. She attended a bilingual school from the age of 6 and spent one year in Ferdinand, Indiana, at Marian Heights Academy as a regular enrolled student, learning English as her second language.
As a curious entrepreneur, she began her career in the sports, food, and coffee industry for several years before embarking on her journey as a plastic artist. She owned several galleries here in San Carlos, bringing a touch of magic to our community through her art and classes. Since 2010, she has worked with a gallery in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California, in a very prestigious area. She also participated in a project involving large fiberglass sculptures in collaboration with a nonprofit organization associated with the gallery.
In 2018, honoring her philosophy, “Art is my passion, helping is my purpose,” Lucia initiated an effort to contribute to our San Carlos community by designing a significant art project that forever changed the town’s atmosphere. This project added value with “Dolphins of San Carlos: A Project of Hope.” It was realized in 2019, at the beginning of the pandemic, with the installation of 27 dolphin-shaped sculptures, representing our local animal, in San Carlos. This project provided hope during the COVID-19 pandemic, engaging artists, the community, and sponsors in creating a beautiful urban outdoor gallery.
Driven by her constant curiosity about the world and her desire to contribute to others, Lucia has become a valuable member of our Coldwell Banker team as a dedicated agent, entrepreneur, and artist in our community, ready to serve and assist.
